Our Facility is a dream studio equipped with showers and a large hot room. HYC is Columbia's first hot yoga studio within a 30 mile radius. We are yoga practitioners with a mission to build a warm home to lay your mat and deepen your practice. We offer classes of all levels for everybody and every body. We are a family, or as they say in yoga teachings "kula" the sanskrit word for "community," "clan," or "tribe." Don't worry, on Wednesday we do not wear pink. ; )
What is Hot Yoga? We practice in the hot room at a safe temperature using state of the art heating system. Level up your yoga practice with HYC's crème de la crème Far Infrared Radiant Heating system and commercial humidifier. The combination feels like sun against your skin without the harmful UV rays.
 
 Far Infrared Heat or radiant heating is simply the transfer of heat from a warm object to a cooler object. Just as the sun heats us,  our heating panels radiate sun-like warmth to the room's space, floors, props and mats, rather than forcing the heat.

HOT 26

Traditional Bikram style sequence of 26 postures and 2 breathworks, the same sequence every time. Classes are offered in 60/75 minute sessions.

Breathwork, Warm up, Standing Balancing Postures, Spinal Strengthening Series, Backbends, Detoxing Twists, Cool Down.

 

SILENT HOT 26

HOT BARRE

HYC Hot Barre is a full body workout with isotonic and isometric movements inspired from ballet, pilates, and yoga. We bump the music and the heat up, turn the lights down low. Hot Barre is designed for everyone, and especially for whoever wants to burn off the extra calories and fat and see results quicker.

 

BUTI BURN

BUTI BURN is Hot Buti Yoga, a soulful blend of power yoga, tribal dance & conditioning, with the focus on deep abdominal toning through the Buti Yoga Spiral Structure Technique. We leave out the cardio and plyometrics to bring in the heat for this juicy AF workout.

 

ROCKET

 Ashtanga Based Series to get where you are going faster! You can expect each class to include emphasis on the breath, Sun Salutations, seated and standing postures, and opportunities for arm balances and inversions (all of which are optional).

 

YOGA SCULPT

Experience the high caloric burn of yoga sculpt: a fusion of vinyasa yoga and low impact body sculpting. Yoga Sculpt weaves together vinyasa flow, core stabilizing exercises, and short cardio circuits. Lightweights and props are provided, bring your mat towel and water!

A slow gentle vinyasa class with restorative postures weaved in to let you have the best of both worlds.

YIN

Unwind the mind and the hips with long stretches held for 3-5 minutes each. Restorative postures and guided meditation.
